What is National Board Certification
What is National Board Certification
National Board Certification is a voluntary, advanced professional certificate for PreK-12 educators that identifies teaching expertise through a performance-based, peer-reviewed assessment. More than 125,000 teachers across all 50 states have achieved National Board Certification.
Region 15 ESC has created a two-year comprehensive program to help educators on their path to NBPTS certification. Teachers can apply to be part of this cohort and gain access to a program that is tailored to their individual requirements. Members of this cohort will get monitoring, peer assistance, and guidance on completing each required component. For more information, check out our section on the ESC Region 15 Cohort Overview.
