Distance Learning Overview

  • NetXV represents a collaborative effort among 40 remote, rural school districts who believe that comprehensive instruction based upon the most current and relevant resources mut be accessible to students, regardless of district remoteness, size, or budgetary constraints in order to positively impact student acheivement.  The primary barriers faced by the districts of NetXV are those of distance.  Geographic disbursement across and area of 25,000 miles creates the need among districts to do collaborative work by some means other than being physically present together at a single site.  NetXV continues to expand in order to provide interactive videoconferencing to 40 sites.
